Isadora’s play on the old childhood song creatively hosts a variety of animals. The lion, the elephant, and the hippo would be commonly guessed as living on Old Mikamba’s farm. Old Mikamba owns some animals you probably haven’t ever heard of. Read this book to enjoy the African spin on an American nursery rhyme. Includes facts about each animal on Old Mikamba’s farm. This book can be used to educate on animals in Africa. It could be used to in group reading with very young children and could include singing.
