Leo and his dad live in an old blue house that has peeling paint, leaks, and creaks, but they love it. When their landlord sells their house to be torn down, Leo and his dad must move to a new house. At first, they are very sad and angry, but together they find a way to remember their little blue house forever and make their new house a home. The illustrations in this book are richly detailed and vivid. The plot details a positive example of handling sadness and anger, and how to handle new changes. Elementary aged children will enjoy reading this book for its detailed illustrations and relatable characters and content. Children struggling with changes will identify with Leo and find hope and inspiration in his example. Highly recommended Elly McGillivray Watkins, Centennial Library Intern, Cedarville University
