Review

I Will Swim Next Time tells the story of a young boy who overcomes his fear of the water. Throughout the story, the young boy has a strong desire to go in the water. He finds the water mesmerizing and beautiful, but he keeps telling himself that he will go in next time. The author invites the reader on a watery exploration of the joy of the ocean through imaginative illustrations and poetic rhyming words. This is ultimately a story about overcoming fears through the help of family and a creative imagination.
