Review
In The Night Garden beautifully illustrates a fictional garden in the night. It invites the reader to imagine the sounds and feel of the garden with descriptive words and detailed drawings. With a somewhat spooky feel, this book discusses the stars and moon in the sky as it tells the story of the garden and its life after dark. Throughout the story, there is a recurring drawing of a black cat that walks along the garden as the reader experiences awe and wonder. This is a quiet and imaginative read. Perfect for a bedtime story.
