Description

Loren Reno graduated from Cedarville University with the class of 1970. After graduation, he taught school for several years before enlisting in the United States Air Force. He served for 38 years and attained the rank of Lt. General. He served as Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics, Installations and Mission Support, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Washington, D.C., and was responsible to the Chief of Staff for leadership, management and integration of Air Force logistics readiness, aircraft and missile maintenance, civil engineering and security forces, as well as setting policy and preparing budget estimates that reflect enhancements to productivity, combat readiness and quality of life for Air Force personnel.

After his retirement from the Air Force, he returned to Cedarville University as the inaugural Dean of the newly formed School of Business Administration. In 2015, he became Vice President for Academics, and upon retirement from that position, he became Senior Adviser to the President.
