Abstract
The present review of the literature on eating disorders specifically addresses the dynamics of bulimia nervosa. It inductively reports information relative to the etiology of eating disorders, distinctive characteristics of bulimic behavior, cognitions and moods involved with eating disorders, family functions of the bulimic client, psychosocial components affecting women who struggle with eating disorders, and personality variables of eating-disordered individuals.
