Proposal
The following paper will be a literature review in regards to adults who have or are currently experiencing trauma due to previous experiences of domestic violence. Specifically, we will be focusing on individuals who undergo the psychological phenomena of regression, a term which will also be defined in this paper. These adults will be analyzed in categories; those who have received help versus those who haven’t and the various ages of those who underwent trauma. We will then describe possible methods to better meet the needs of this specific demographic, as well as ideas for programs and/or educated responses. In conclusion, should such a client be proffered to us in future, we hope to be able to meet their needs with the full competency of one called to the field of social work.
