Description
Carmina sacra, first published in 1841, was compiled by Lowell Mason "under the sanction of the Boston Academy of Music". Cedarville University's original copy was published in Boston by Wilkins, Carter, & Co. in 1847. It was widely used and sold an astounding 500,000 copies between its first publication in 1841 and 1858.
