Description

The Boston School Song Book was compiled by Lowell Mason (1792-1872) for use in the public schools of Boston. Mason is often referred to as the father of music education in the United States. His Boston School Song Book contains both original and selected songs, mostly of a secular nature. Cedarville University's original copy was published in Boston by Wilkins, Carter, & Co. in 1845
