Printed note on back: "Tunnel of Love - found in Athens county, Ohio, spanning Shade Creek, 2 1/2 miles ENE Pratt's Fork, Lodi Twp.1, Co. Rd. 46 off US 33 near Bucks Lake, known as Pratts Fork Bridge #6. A typical sign to be found in landmarks such as this was, 'Walk your Horse or pay a fine'".

Note on back: "Covered Bridge near old Charleton Mill. Massies' Creek. Charleton Mill built about 1836 also a distillery. later bought by Samuel Charleton. Rev. Armstrong first preacher in Twp. Old Covenantor Church at Stevenson. Grave yard area 1804. Round log, no floor, split log seats. Second church on site, was hewed logs in 1810. Third church 1829 of stone. Known as Massie's Creek church. 200 members. Armstrong use to ford Creek on stilts. Congregation finally split. "Old sides" group finally built church near Ervin. Stone quarry Cedarville Village. These old bridges were covered to protect timbers and for shelter as a secondary facility. Fred Marshall"
