Adventure, the Amazon, and a man with a quest! Greg Pizzoli relates the story of famed explorer Percy Fawcett with exquisite illustration and detail, starting with young Percy’s dreams of exploring the world one day, and following his story to its unknown end. This book will appeal to many, with illustrations that catch the eye, alongside details and facts that will engage a wide range of ages. The story arc is intriguing, and Pizzoli gives his readers a well-researched summary of one of history’s fascinating mysteries. This book could be used as a simple bibliographic resource, a wonderful book to be read for the sake of reading, or a way to spark children's interest in the grand storyline of history.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
