After the death of his grandfather, Jacob travels to Wales in order to discover the truth behind his grandfather’s strange childhood stories. What he finds instead are the children of his grandfather’s youth, unchanged by time and oddly peculiar. Love, death and monsters in this book keep the story alive and intriguing with an original plot line. Riggs’ ability to keep the reader second guessing reality makes this book hard to put down. Recommended. Tesla Klinger, Cetennial Library Intern, Cedarville University
