Lawrence the fox is sad that he is the only one in his class with no collection to show to his classmates during show-and-tell. His papa then suggests that they look in the woods together for something that Lawrence can collect. While having doubts and being slightly afraid of the forest, Lawrence agrees to look with his papa. Eventually, Lawrence finds a collection that is so wonderful, he forgets to be afraid. This picture book provides an easy-to-follow storyline, allowing the included educational aspects of the forest to shine through. Additionally, the illustrations are the appropriately disproportionate renderings of animals characteristic of similar picture books. Parents can read through this book and point out those educational elements of the forest with their kids. Recommended, Anna Jennings, Centennial Library Intern, Cedarville University
