As children grow up, they start adventures of their own. Well, where are the biggest adventures? Between the pages of a book, of course! Unfortunately, this cat feels left out after his boy starts reading by himself. It’s a good thing that he’s there to help! This story is warmhearted and will remind you of your own fuzzy fur-ball. The attention to detail in the illustrations will have you smiling as you pick out classic books of your youth depicted on the shelves. This would be a great book for children learning to read. It has a mix of short, simple sentences and small paragraphs that encourages parents and child to work together during story time. Recommended Morgan Rupp, Centennial Library Intern, Cedarville University
