Gray Fox in the Moonlight presents a masterfully illustrated book about a fox wandering through the woods at night. The book’s dark blue and yellow pages create a calm tone and mood, and the author demonstrates the movement of the fox with dynamic word placement. Eventually, the fox returns to her den, where her kits are asleep. She falls asleep next to them as the night ends. This book would be a good selection for young readers. It does not include many words, and these words are easy to comprehend and pronounce.
Highly Recommended Emma Bapst, Centennial Library Intern, Cedarville University
