Review
A young girl asks famous artists questions about making art and the nature of art. For the illustrations, brushstrokes are visible, making the characters look like they were painted on the page. The text is simple, but some of the questions are complex that a younger audience would need guidance thinking about. The book features a variety of artists from different time periods and cultures and features a short biography for each one in the back. This would be a very easy way to introduce what art is to children as well as begin a discussion on famous artists. Recommended. Lauren Crider, Centennial Library Intern, Cedarville University
