  J. Wesley Baker

  Dr. Baker taught at Cedarville from 1977-2017, teaching courses in media law, media ethics, news writing and reporting, Christian approaches to the media, survey research, Web analytics, and data-driven journalism. His research interests are in the intellectual history of freedom of expression, the “image/word” conflict, and the effect of new communication technologies on society and particularly on media and journalism. Dr. Baker has twice received the Faculty Scholar Award at Cedarville, an Innovative Excellence in Teaching, Learning, and Technology Award at the International Conference on College Teaching and Learning, and the Dr. Allen Monroe Integration of Faith and Learning Award. He is a member of Investigative Reporters and Editors, the Radio Television Data News Association (RTDNA), and the Web Analytics Association (WAA).

  Charles D. Dolph

  Dr. Dolph is a counseling psychologist who practices in the areas of individual and marriage counseling, human sexuality, geriatrics, chronic illness, and religious issues. He teaches courses focusing on relationships including Intimate Relationships, Human Sexuality, Social Psychology and Personhood. He is a Fellow in the Center for Bioethics at Cedarville.

  Lyle J. Anderson

  Dr. Anderson serves as coordinator of choral studies and conducts the Concert Chorale and Men's Glee Club. He is an authority on choral conducting and theory pedagogy and is active as a choral clinician and guest conductor throughout the Midwest. He earned his Ph.D. in music theory from The Ohio State University in 1977 and has been at Cedarville since 1970.

  J. Murray Murdoch

  Dr. Murdoch serves as Senior Professor of History. He was the men's tennis coach at Cedarville College from 1965 to 1994 and still enjoys participating in the sport. He is the Chairman of the Men's National Tournament Committee and a member of the Board of Directors of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association. Dr. Murdoch is the Senior Pastor of Westerville Grace Baptist Church. Professor Murdoch received his Ph.D. from Northwestern University in 1971 and has been at Cedarville since 1965.

  Recently honored for 45 years of faithful service to the University, Dr. J. Murray Murdoch sat down with Dr. Bill Brown for an uplifting and challenging interview. Over the course of his tenure, this professor with a "pastor's heart" has served professionally, intentionally, and prepared thousands of students for the call God has placed on their lives.
